Uninterruptible DC emergency power supplies for flexible system integration
Compact DC UPS components in open-frame design can be flexibly and space-efficiently integrated into customer applications, ensuring uninterrupted DC power supply at 12?V, 24?V, or 48?V. Compact modules with integrated energy storage, as well as modular systems comprising a charging/control unit and matching battery packs, are available. Energy storage uses maintenance-free long-life supercaps, long-lasting and safe LiFePO4 and Li-ion battery packs, or classic lead-acid batteries. The DC UPS solutions provide reliable protection against power failure, flicker, or DC voltage dips. In critical situations, for example, motors or actuators can be returned to a defined basic safety position, and current process steps can be completed or continued for a certain period of time. In the event of a prolonged power failure, PC-based systems can be switched off in a controlled manner and automatically restarted after mains voltage is restored.
